Two talented, local troubadours will take the stage for two performances at the Steynberg Gallery this weekend.

Vocalist and banjo player Erin Inglish and singer/guitarist Gabrielle Louise recently returned from a tour around the country that included stops in New York City and Arizona.

They've fashioned a style they describe as "progressive folk," with influences ranging from Woody Guthrie to Carole King.

Their acapella performances are every bit as lyrical as their accompanied tunes and demostrate a range that is both contemporary and reminiscent of the old timey tunes audiences may associate with the Cohen Bros. film, "O Brother, Where Art Thou."

They take the stage tonight at the Steynberg Gallery at 8, with another performance Sunday evening at 6:30. For more information, check out the gallery events website at www.steynberg-events.com/calendar.html
