One Central Coast group is showing people how the Affordable Care Act will affect them.
Get Covered Central Coast explained the new insurance requirements at a community forum at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center Wednesday night.
It's group of local medical professionals and other local organizations.
Wednesday was the second forum on the Central Coast.
"The latest survey out said 42-percent of the population doesn't even understand this is law and over 70-percent really don't understand how it's going to apply to them. That's exactly why we're doing these meetings," said founder Michael Framberger.
