Call it a lesson in re-gifting.
A local brother and sister just turned their Christmas presents into a gift for two local charities.
Ella, 3 and 5-year-old Kaleb Simonin both received $100 under the tree from their aunt, but the gift was also wrapped up with a lesson in sharing.
Their mother says the kids have everything they need, so they decided to re-gift their cash.
Ella donated $100 to Big Brothers Big Sisters. The organization says it will use the money to "provide role model relationships for children in San Luis Obispo County." A spokesperson added the organization is "so grateful to our youngest donor."
Kaleb donated $100 to Woods Humane Society.
