Local man accused of sexually victimizing underage girls, served more than four years in state prison for similar crimes

The Paso Robles man accused of sexually victimizing at least three underage girls he met online, was convicted of similar crimes back in 2006.

Shaun Harrison was 20 years old when a San Luis Obipso County judge sentenced him to more than four years in state prison in connection swith a series of prowling calls at the Bordeaux House Apartments in Atascadero.

Residents there reported a man going door to door, knocking on windows, trying to lure young girls from their apartments. In one case, he took the screen off the window, reached inside, and touched a 7-year-old girl on the head while she slept.

Harrison plead no contest to eight charges, including child molestation, prowling and resisting arrest.

Harrison, now 25, was arrested on April 6 for violating his parole. During their investigation, officers found he used social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace to contact underage girls.

The Paso Robles Police Department says it has filed charges with the District Attorney's Office. They include unlawful sex acts with a minor, lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 and annoying or molesting a child.
