An Arroyo Grande man is in critical condition at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo after police say he was involved in a crash Monday while riding his motorcycle.

Arroyo Grande Police on Tuesday identified the motorcyclist as Douglas Navolt, 51.

Police say Elizabeth Thielker, 85, of Arroyo Grande was found to be at fault for the crash. They say she failed to yield to oncoming traffic when making a left-hand turn at the intersection of Valley Road and Sunrise Terrace in Arroyo Grande just after 3:30 p.m. Monday. Thielker was not injured, according to police.

The crash tied up traffic for hours.
