More local children will receive dental services thanks to two grants totaling $20,000.

The Partnership for the Children of San Luis Obispo County received the funding from the County and City of San Luis Obispo.

The money will go toward dental services at La Clinica de Tolosa, which provides pediatric dental care for low-income children.

The County's Preventive Health Grant for $15,000 will help cover expenses for dental services requiring the use of IV sedation or general anesthesia.

The City's Grant-In-Aid award for $5,000 will help cover expenses for the provision of dental care to children residing in the City of San Luis Obispo.
