Local pet company giving back to the canine community

More than 10 tons of Buddy Biscuits have been donated to animals across the nation all thanks to one local company.
Cloud Star Corporation, the leader in all natural pet products has donated products to non-profit organizations in 2012.
Cloud Star has been committed to giving since the companies beginning in 1998. Co-founders Jennifer Melton and Brennan Johnson started the company by baking special low allergen dog treats as part of their way to contribute to a local animal shelter bake sale event. Since then, their dedication to helping others has grown to organizations that benefit animals, women, children and the environment. The Proof of Purchase Donation Program, which started in October of 2012, Cloud Star donates $1 for each proof submitted to the non-profit organization of the customer's choice.
"Supporting causes on both a local and national level has always been an integral part of our company," Jennifer Melton, co-founder of Cloud Star, said in a press release. "We have been so fortunate with continued success. For us, doing good business includes doing good things for others, and we thank our loyal customers for helping us continue to do so."
