Two physical therapists in Santa Maria are headed to Haiti.
John Hollinshead and his colleague, Tom Meenzhuber both work for the Santa Maria Physical Therapy Group. They're making the trip to help earthquake victims with rehabilitation and recovery. Many are amputees, but Hollinshead says the injuries run the gammut of everything physical therapists do from head to toe.
"There is a need there and something that i can provide and I think that's what we do. That's what people do for one another and as a physical therapist, it's a unique opportunity for me to really be able to provide specific services," John Hollinshead said.
Tom leaves next week and John leaves in June.
