Local police and firefighters roll up their sleeves to save lives

Local firefighters and police officers will roll up their uniform sleeves to help fight blood shortage on the Central Coast.

Monday, March 15, Arroyo Grande firefighters are sponsoring a blood drive for the United Blood Bank from 1 p.m. - 7p.m. at the fire station on Traffic Way.

On Saturday, March 27, Paso Robles Police officers invite the community to take part in "Helping Police Save Lives."

The Tri-Counties Blood Bank bus will be located at the Paso Robles Downtown City Park from 9 a.m - 1 p.m.

Cold Stone Creamery is donating a "Pint" of ice cream for your "Pint" donation to the blood drive.
