Local students participate in TV tutoring show

Junior high school students in Paso Robles got to be part of a learning television show Thursday.

The "Do the Math" program is an on-air and on-line tutoring program.

Students from Bauer/Speck Elementary and George Flamson Middle School participated. The program is based out of Kern County, and the crew comes to the Central Coast once a year.

The program airs every Tuesday and Wednesday on cable and online from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Students phone in they get in contact with a phone tutor and they can work out any math homework problems that they're working on.

While they're working out the math homework problem they can request for it to be on TV.

The program airs in San Luis Obispo County on Charter Channel 19, COETV.
