Some local teachers were busy taking orders Tuesday night, all for a good cause.

It was McTeacher's night at McDonald's in Grover Beach. Teachers from Oceano Elementary jumped behind the counter to raise money for their school. The fast food joint filled up with students and parents. Twenty percent of all sales during the three-hour event will go back to the school.

"I don't see any complaints. We have enough staff so that they can go ahead and support the drive thru and whatever else they can do with the fries or the ice cream. That's one thing I heard about the teachers. They love doing the ice cream," said PTA President Cesar Galvez. This is the second time Oceano Elementary has taken advantage of McTeacher's night.
