Some of our local heroes are back on the Central Coast. Three troops arrived at the San Luis Obispo Airport Sunday night. They were returning from Afghanistan where they had been stationed since March 15th of last year.

The troops are all from Camp San Luis.

We asked them what they were most excited to do now that they're home. "I'm gonna go home and barbeque," said Sgt. Milton Black. "I'm gonna spend time with my family, and I missed Woodstocks," said Staff Sgt. Wesley Swedberg. Spec. Leslie Castro-Alcina, who is a vegetarian, says she's excited for all the food since it was limited where they were stationed.

Their arrival came just hours after three other troops flew in.
