The royal wedding is just hours away now and royal watchers across the globe will not be the only ones gathering around their television sets. Wedding professionals here on the Central Coast are also keeping a close eye on the big event.

When Prince William and Kate Middleton say "I do," the world will be watching, and so will Mary Barncastle.

"It is a fantasy wedding and every bride wants to have a fantasy wedding," said Barncastle, who owns Taylor Rental in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles with her husband.

She is looking to the couple's big day for tips on upcoming trends. She plans to stock her show rooms with colors, linens and details straight from the royal wedding.

"I'm waiting to place my order to see exactly what colors she's using," Barncastle said. "We have royal purple, pale lavenders, that was definitely added to the color scheme this year and that was just because of the engagement."

Across town, Noland's Carriage is also gearing up for a boost in business. Owner Chad Noland is already seeing an increase in interest from brides, looking to shine like royalty on their big day.

"As we're approaching we will and we think we will really see a spike right afterwards, so definitely brides are now excited and interested in weddings again," Noland said.

"I think every bride wants to be princess for a day and I think that to see a real princess definitely is an inspiration to say, well I can have a little bit of that magic," Barncastle said.
