Halloween is approaching and so is Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.
It sounds scary, but it's actually a celebration honoring loved ones who have died.
Via Vega Winery in Paso Robles has set up a traditional Dia de los Muertos altar and it's open to the whole community.
You're invited to add a picture of someone who has passed away.
Family members, spouses, and even pets are celebrated.
The owners say leaving a memory on the altar is healing.
"It's a sense of release for them," says April Gomez, Via Vega Winery owner. "They've finally placed their mother's picture somewhere and said goodbye, and it's done in an informal way. It's almost celebratory, fun."
The altar is open until November 11th during regular tasting hours.
