From cancer to osteoporosis and menopause, an event for women is being held next week that is hosted by Marian Medical Center, Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and French Hospital Medical Center.
The Women's Day Tea events are free and will feature a host of speakers.
The first seminar will be Wednesday, May 5, in French Hospital's auditorium from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
The next will be on Thursday, May 6, at Marian Medical Center's Extended Care Center from 10 a.m. - noon.
"The highlight of these events will be informative presentations by local professionals of special interest to women. Women can take this opportunity to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea and educate themselves," said Katherine Guthrie, Regional Director, CHW Central Coast Cancer Service Areas. "We would like to show our appreciation and admiration for the difference women make in the lives of their children, families and communities."
Space is limited, to reserve your seat call French Hospital Medical Center's Hearst Cancer Resource Center at (805) 542-6234, Arroyo Grande's Coastal Cancer Care and Diagnostic Center at (805) 481-7245 or Marian Medical Center's Cancer Care Services at (805) 739-3780.
