A local organization was opening up its doors on Saturday, inviting the community to come and see what they're all about.
An Open House was held at Lompoc's newly renovated YMCA.
The free event featured classes, vendors, and even a petting zoo and bounce house.
While the open house is held every year, organizers say this is the first year with so many vendors.
Participants could also check out some of the new techno gym cardio and strength training machines.
Associate Membership Director Renee Kurniadi says, "We do encourage healthy living, but health isn't just about physical activity. It's about mental health, spiritual health, relational health, everything like that, and we like to think that we provide that here in our community."
The Lompoc YMCA is offering free membership for the month of January.
Union Bank is also donating $10 to the YMCA's campaign for youth and families for each new membership that joins in January.
