Locals celebrate "Thanksgivikkah" as Thanksgiving and Hanukkah converge

This Thanksgiving, turkeys and menorahs are getting together.

In a rare convergence, Thanksgiving and Hanukkah are overlapping.

Photo-journalist Nate Asher visited Temple Beth David in San Luis Obispo on Sunday to see how they're celebrating "Thanksgivikkah."

The last time the holidays converged was back in 1888, and by some calculations, it won't happen again for more than 79,000 years.
