People in Montana de Oro spent Saturday going back to their roots and learning what it was like to live on a ranch in the early 1900's.
It was the Pecho Ranch Day event at the Spooner Ranch House.
The family-friendly event was free to attend. Guests could learn how to milk a cow, use a wringer washer, and rope steers. There were also games and activities for the whole family.
Guests could also enjoy live music and compete in a pie-baking contest.
The Spooner Ranch House is maintained by the Central Coast State Parks Association. They've raised over $200,000 to renovate the ranch.
