San Luis Obispo Police want to remind anyone spending time in the city to lock their cars and keep a eye out.
Detectives say they've seen a string of car thefts in the past two weeks in various parts of the city. They say about half of the eight stolen vehicles are early 90's Hondas.
The police department says Hondas tend to be the most stolen vehicle in the nation because it's easier to replicate the key.
