Lompoc restaurant reportedly robbed at knife point

A Lompoc man is arrested after officers say he robbed a local restaurant at knife point.

Officers were called to a restaurant on the 700 blk. of N. H St. at about 10:45p.m. Monday. Witnesses say the suspect entered the building, pulled out a knife and demanded cash. He was able to get away with an unknown amount of cash. No one was hurt.

When officers arrived, they say employees of the business were able to identify the suspect as 37-year-old Thomas Carter Jr. Officers were able to locate Carter nearby. Carter was arrested on charges of armed robbery.
