The Lompoc High football team finished the season ranked #32 in Cal-Hi Sports' final State Poll of the year. The Braves were the only Central Coast team in the popular prep website's Top 50 poll.

Lompoc finished the season 12-1 and lost in the CIF semifinals to Serra, the eventual CIF State champion. The Braves owned the state's longest winning-streak at 32 games until the loss to the Cavaliers.

Head coach Andrew Jones must bid farewell to several key players, who are set to graduate in the spring. Among the senior class are Washington recruit Lavon Coleman, Taylor Cornejo, Jose Morales, Willie Iribarren, Nikko Hayes and Joshua Power.

Earlier in the season, the Braves were ranked in the Top 20 in the state.
