Lompoc man arrested for threatening wife with gun

Police say a Lompoc man is taken into custody after they say he threatened his wife with a gun.
It happened on the 1300 block of West Willow Avenue just after noon Thursday.
Police say the suspect began firing at officers when they arrived on scene.
The shots hit a couple of occupied homes and a police car, but no one was injured.
Police arrested 50-year-old Bartholomew Karcz for several charges including attempted murder.
