Lompoc police have identified the women who was killed over the weekend as Selina Bustos, 30.
Bustos was found Saturday morning with multiple stab wounds at a home in the 1000 block of North Sixth Street.
Lompoc police issued a warrant for her boyfriend, 23 year-old Eduardo Robles, and are asking the public for help to find him. He is still on the loose. Robles is described as a Hispanic male, 23 years old, 6'0" tall, approximately 200 to 230 pounds with hazel hair eyes and brown hair.
KSBY spoke to a friend and co-worker of Bustos and they all described her as a beautiful person.
Friends put up a memorial over the weekend outside the house where Bustos was found murdered. That's where her boyfriend of about 6 months lived.
A friend of Bustos said she showed no signs of domestic violence, and she's just shocked this all happened.
Bustos worked at Acceptance Insurance Agency in Lompoc for 13 years. Her boss described her as "part of the family".
The last time Roger Bales saw Bustos was on Thursday. She was about to go on vacation to Mexico for 2 weeks, and he just wanted to stop by the office to wish her a safe trip. But just two days later, on Saturday afternoon, he and his wife got the news of Bustos' violent death.
"He just destroyed a lot of lives," said Bales.
Neighbors described the suspect, Robles, as a quiet person, who lived in the home with about four other men.
Police said there's a chance Robles could still be in the Lompoc area, but they're also looking farther south, like San Diego and even Mexico.
The agency where Bustos worked, Acceptance Insurance in Lompoc, will be accepting donations for her memorial fund.
