Lompoc Police arrest two in connection with burglary

Lompoc Police arrested two people Saturday night after reports of a burglary. Officials were called out to the 1100 block of Honda Way just after 9 p.m. A homeowner called police saying he found someone in his home going through his belongings. The homeowner told the person he was going to call the police, and the person ran from the scene. Several other victims told police they had seen someone in their homes, backyards, and cars. Officials found a man nearby and arrested him. After investigating, they were also able to determine that people in a nearby car had been involved. Police arrested 20-year-old Michael McNeil from Bakersfield and charged him with burglary, conspiracy, petty theft, and trespassing. They also arrested 19-year-old Michael Taylor of Lompoc and charged him with possession of stolen property and conspiracy.
