Lompoc police make arrest following several break-ins

A Lompoc man is facing charges in connection to a series of break-ins at Lompoc businesses in January.
Police say 13 businesses were either broken into or attempts were made to break into them.
They are all located between the 800 and 1000 blocks of North H Street.
Officers arrested Ivan Gutierrez, 18, on charges of burglary, possession of methamphetamine and bringing a controlled substance into the jail.
Police say they are continuing to investigate other cases and Gutierrez may face more charges.
