Lompoc Police make arrests in assault case

Lompoc Police arrested two people on Thursday in connection to an assault that happened in March.

Police say, just after 1:30 on the morning of March 31st, three juveniles were assaulted by a man with a wooden stick. It happened near the Jack in the Box in the 500 block of North H Street.

Police later identified Ramon Garcia, Jr., 28, of Santa Barbara, as the suspect in the assault. He was arrested at his home in Santa Barbara and faces three counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Garcia's girlfriend, Veronica Sanchez, 30, was also arrested and faces one count of assault with a deadly weapon.
