Lompoc police officers are searching for a suspect, after they say he barricaded himself in a house Monday evening.

Police were called to the 1100 blk. of N. Sixth St. at about 5:30p.m. Monday, where they say a man was found waving a gun erratically. They say the suspect ran into a home and barricaded himself. A Special Forces Team was called out and entered the home, but the suspect had escaped.

His name has not been released and his current whereabouts are unknown.
