Some Santa Maria residents have been curious as to why there have been long lines of people after hours and on the weekend at Wells Fargo Bank on the 1400 block of South Broadway.
KSBY News went in search of answers.
We're told the Mexican Consulate worked with about 200 people on Sunday.
It was expected to assist 600 people by the end of the day.
