Lucia Mar officials to hold two community forums

Local educators ask the community to come out to a special forum that's meant to help gather ideas about what is needed most at our schools.

Official from the Lucia Mar Unified School District are holding two community forums. The first takes place Monday at 4:00p.m. at Nipomo High School. The second takes place Tuesday at 6:00p.m. at Arroyo Grande High School.

District officials say they're asking people to share their unique perspectives on education, to come up with ideas on identifying and prioritizing 21st Century skills needed for students now and in the future.

No reservations are needed to attend either forum. Childcare will be available at the Nipomo High School meeting. Spanish translation will be available at both forums.
