Madonna-Twisselman Ranch hits the auction block

The Madonna-Twisselman Ranch in San Luis Obispo County is hitting the auction block Thursday afternoon.
The combined 1,975-acre piece of property, located just off Prefumo Canyon Road, will be offered up to the highest bidder during a real estate auction at the Madonna Inn.
There are two ranches up for grabs. The first is 746 acres, the second is about 1200 acres. Alex Madonna used to own the properties but after his death in 2004 his two daughters inherited the ranches.
The J.P. King Auction Company says the properties were last listed for a combined price of $10 million.
The auction starts at 1 p.m.
