Magician pleads no contest to weapons charges

A world-renowned magician agrees to jail time after entering a no contest plea to felony assault charges in a San Luis Obispo County courtroom Tuesday morning.

Claude Yarbrough, better known as Jonathan Pendragon, plead no contest to two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. In exchange, he agreed to serve up to one year in county jail.

Yarbrough was arrested last summer after firing a gun into the floor of his Arroyo Grande home during a fight with his wife. Two weeks later investigators say he violated a restraining order by breaking into his home.
