A 43 year old bicyclist has two broken legs after a car hit him as he was turning left in San Luis Obispo.

Around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday The San Luis Obispo Police and Fire Department responded to a collision involving a vehicle vs. Bicyclist on Santa Rosa at Boysen.

Thomas Stipicevich was riding his bike southbound on Santa Rosa when a car traveling northbound attempted to turn left onto Boysen St.

Police say the driver failed to see Stipicevick and hit him.

He was transported to Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment of his two broken legs.

Police say drugs/alcohol were not involved in the collision.
