Man accused of kidnapping infant expected in court

An Arroyo Grande man, accused of kidnapping an infant, is expected in court Tuesday morning.

Eighty-two-year-old, Peter Hewitt, is scheduled for further arraignment in a San Luis Obispo courtroom. He's charged with kidnapping and child endangerment.

Police say he took a baby away from its mother in the
Vons parking lot in Grover Beach. The mother and child reportedly met Hewitt at church, and had been staying with him when it happened.
