Man arrested after deputies say he led them on a high-speed chase

A San Diego County man is also in jail after he led Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies on a high speed chase.

Investigators say they got an alert that a stolen car was in the area.

Deputies spotted the vehicle and say 33-year-old Jason Dobbie led them on a chase that reached speeds of more than 100 miles-per-hour.

They used a spike strip used to disable the vehicle.

Dobbie is facing charges of driving a stolen vehicle and evading police.

He was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on $75,000 bail.
