Man arrested for allegedly slashing tires on over 60 vehicles

An 18-year-old man is arrested for allegedly slashing tires on more than 60 vehicles in Carpinteria.

Gustavo Julian was arrested for felony vandalism and tampering with a vehicle, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department.

On March 28, sheriff's deputies were called out to investigate reports of vandalism on Linden Avenue, 8th St, Willow Place, Oak Avenue, Elm Avenue, Holly Avenue, and Palm Avenue. The vehicles were parked in driveways and on streets.

Julian was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail. Additional evidence found during the investigation may lead to more arrests.
