Man arrested for child molestation in Goleta

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's detectives say a 17-year-old girl reported she had been molested for four years, by 63-year-old John Owen.

Detectives say they learned the molestation began in 2000, when the suspect cared for the girl on weekends.

Officials say they searched Owens' home Friday, and found graphic photos of the victim.

He was arrested on sex crimes charges, but has since posted his $100,000 bail.
