SANTA BARBARA - A man Santa Barbara is in jail for a marijuana grow operation.

Police and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department arrested 31 year old Walter Stanley.

After a month long investigation, detectives found 80 marijuana plants, five pounds of processed marijuana, $2,000 cash, and a box of shotgun shells.

Detectives say Stanley was growing the drug for dispensaries in the Los Angeles area.

He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for possession and sale of marijuana, and growing it. Both are felonies.

His bail is set at $30,000.
