Man attempted to lure nine-year-old Lompoc girl into his truck, police say

Lompoc police officers were called out to the 300 block of West North Avenue on Wednesday afternoon after a nine-year-old girl said a man tried to lure her into his truck.
The victim described the suspect as a 25 to 30-year-old caucasian man with brown hair, 6' tall with a medium build.
The suspect's car was described as a dark, newer model, full size truck, possibly a Chevy or GMC.
The incident is still under investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lompoc Police Department.
