The Southern California man charged with the drunk driving crash near Hearst Castle that killed his passenger has taken a plea deal.
Kurt Naegele pled no contest Tuesday to all three counts, including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Back in 2009, prosecutors say he rolled his vehicle, killing Darren Dahlman of Pasadena.
As part of the deal, Naegele will likely serve one year in jail and a year on felony probation.
He can apply to serve his time under house arrest. Sentencing is scheduled for July.
