Santa Barbara County District Atoorney Joyce E. Dudley announced Thursday that Jesse Daniel Todek was found guilty of second degree robbery.

The conviction stems from a May 24, 2012 incident in Lompoc where Todek, who was 22-years-old at the time, allegedly approached a victim and demanded his money.

Police say the victim refused and Todek assaulted and knocked him to the ground.

The victim handed over his wallet and Todek ran away.

Police say they located him shortly and found him with the victim's wallet.

Todek's sentencing date is October 31, 2012.

He could face up to six years in prison.
