An Arkansas man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the beating death of a Little Rock TV Anchorwoman.
Juror deliberated for less than three hours before recommending 29-year-old Curtis Vance to be sentenced to life in prison, for last year's murder of Anne Pressly. Following sentencing, Pressly's stepfather said, although justice was served, it's not done just yet. "There really aren't any winners here tonight," said Guy Cannady, Pressly's stepfather. "Nothing that's been done here will ever bring Anne back."
The jury reportedly spared Vance the death penalty after hearing testimony about his rocky upbringing.
