Morro Bay Police say a man found floating in the water after the boat he was on overturned in Morro Bay Sunday morning has died.
Officials say a boat holding two people capsized south of the south jetty when it was hit by a wave.
Dense fog created low visibility in the area.
First responders performed CPR on the man and rushed him to a local hospital where police say he died.
Another person on board had minor injuries but was able to make it to shore and call for help.
The identity of the victim and the condition of the second passenger have not been released.
