Man dies in construction accident on Highway 135

A 67-year-old man is dead after being run over by a truck on Highway 135 near West Foster Road.
The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. According to a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol, a construction truck backed up and ran over the victim. Officers believe he may have been doing construction work at the time.
The man was transported to Marian Medical Center, and died from his injuries at the hospital. His name is not being released until next of kin have been notified.
