Authorities are investigating a stabbing in Santa Maria that sent one man to the hospital.
Santa Maria Police say they were called out to Gateway Liquor in the 1600 block of North Broadway Wednesday around 8 p.m. When they arrived, they say no victims or witnesses were at the liquor store, but a short time later, the 19-year-old victim from Santa Maria arrived at a local hospital with stab wounds to his upper torso.
Police say he provided very little information, but is expected to be OK.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Santa Maria Police Department at 928-3781.
