Man in critical condition after car crash

A man is in critical condition after he crashed his car into a tree on South Higuera in San Luis Obispo.
San Luis Obispo Police say it happened around 4:00 a.m. Sunday, just south of Tank Farm Rd.
Police say they found the man unconscious inside the car and took him to Sierra Vista Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
South Higuera between Tank Farm and Suburban Rd. were closed for four hours, while police were investigating.
The name of the driver has not been released.
