Man pleads not guilty to child molestation charges

The Arroyo Grande man charged with sexually molesting a 15- year-old girl plead not guilty this morning in a San Luis Obispo County courtroom.

Arroyo Grande Police says 54-year-old Robert Thomas approached two young girls on December 21st near Kiwanis Park in the Village. They say he tooked them to his home and forced himself on one of them. The other girl was able to run away.

Thomas faces two charges of oral copulation, penetration with a foreign object, rape of an unconscious person, and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

He remains in jail on $150,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for January 7th.
