Man stabbed in Santa Maria

A Santa Maria man is okay after police say he was stabbed Wednesday morning.

The incident happened on the 900 block of North Broadway in Santa Maria. Police say they were called out to Marian Medical Center where 22-year-old Steven Ruiz was getting medical attention.

He suffered a cut to his face and shoulder. Ruiz reportedly would not provide officers with information about the suspect.
