Man suspected of driving under the influence of marijuana with child in car

San Luis Obispo police arrested a man Tuesday for allegedly driving recklessly with his three-year old son in the vehicle. Police say they received several 911 calls about a reckless driver Tuesday morning. The callers said the driver was weaving in and out of traffic, yelling at other drivers, throwing things out of his window, driving through a parking lot at 50 miles per hour, and nearly hitting pedestrians. Officers say they spotted the car near Santa Rosa and Walnut Street and tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued at a slow rate of speed until he turned into an alley that was blocked. Police arrested Andreas Huld, 32, of San Luis Obispo. They say he was driving under the influence of marijuana. He also faces charges of child endangerment and evading a police officer. Police say Huld's three-year old son was in the vehicle with him. They say he was unharmed and was turned over to a family member. Child Welfare Services is investigating.
