Officials with the San Luis Obispo Police Department have confirmed that Jason Lytle, who has been on the run for more than three months, was arrested last weekend in Miami Beach, Fla.

He's the 28-year-old man accused of possessing and distributing child pornography.

They say the FBI currently has Lytle in custody, and he will be prosecuted federally since there are cases against him all over the United States.

Police previously said that through electronic forensics, they were able to see multiple inappropriate Skpye conversations with children on his computer.

Lytle was convicted of distributing child pornography in Santa Barabara and lived as a registered sex offender in San Luis Obispo for a number of years.
