Man wanted for questioning in connection to stabbing

Police are looking for a man who is wanted for questioning after a stabbing Thursday night in Paso Robles.

It happened around 10 p.m. in the 2800 block of Park Street.

Paso Robles police say according to witnesses, James Daniel Elliot, 35, and the 29-year-old victim got into an argument, which turned physical.

Police say Elliot stabbed the man with a knife and ran away.

Police received the initial call about the stabbing from the hospital. The victim had emergency surgery, but is expected to be OK.

Elliot is wanted for questioning and detectives are asking for help finding him.
